AVAU was born from three siblings, each with a different personality, yet guided by the same instinct. Leonardo shapes the creative direction, defining the visual world and emotional expression of the brand. Carolina, the middle sibling, brings clarity, structure, and strategy, helping every idea stay grounded. Caterina gives voice to the fragrances, transforming emotion into scent through technical knowledge and sensitivity. Different roles and different perspectives naturally come together. What connects us is trust, dialogue, and a shared way of feeling things. AVAU grows where creativity, balance, and intention align.
We create what we use
Everything we create starts from a simple place: our own lives. If we wouldn’t wear it, use it, or genuinely love it ourselves, it doesn’t belong to AVAU. Fragrance has been part of our lives for generations. We are the third generation in a family deeply connected to the world of perfume. Our grandparents managed the historic perfumery in Vatican City, while our parents later built one of Italy’s leading fine fragrance distribution companies. Growing up surrounded by scent made quality, raw materials, and craftsmanship feel natural from an early age. Perfume was never distant or abstract, it was part of everyday life. AVAU represents the next chapter of this story, carrying our heritage forward through a new, personal vision.
