The kitchen, the magic tray, the couch inspired by the Vatican City frescoes each element holds a story tied to the way we grew up around fragrance.
Together, they became a place we can finally share.

The kitchen is the heart of a home.
Where everything happens, people gather, speak, create
and stay.
That’s why we made it the protagonist of ours.
At the entrance of our home, there was always a tray
filled with fragrances.
Before leaving, our mother would stop us and ask:
“Have you chosen your perfume today?”
It became part of our routine.
A small gesture before stepping into the world.
While creating the space, we kept coming back to that
memory.
That’s why this part of the store became a reflection
of that tray.
A reflection of where AVAU began.
The couch of the house.
Inspired by the Vatican City frescoes, a place deeply
tied to our family history, where our grandparents opened the perfumery in the
1980s.
For us, it was a way of bringing a small part of that
world into the AVAU home and reinterpreting it in our own way.
Within it, three dogs appear.
A reference to something that has always been part of
our everyday life.
We don’t know where this door leads, but we knew it
deserved to be seen. Hidden for years behind a false wall, it’s now part of the
space again, authentic, untouched, and full of character.
An original chimney found hidden inside the store and
left exactly as it was, raw, real, and part of the space’s story.
